Fun at 3 Gaits!

This week at 3  Gaits I got to ride bareback! I haven't ridden bareback in a long time and Knox is very wide, so that was a fun challenge.

It took some getting used to because I didn't have stirrups to help me balance during the trot and Knox moved me from side to side a lot while walking.

Then about halfway through the lesson, me and the other girl riding switched horses so we could feel the different ways they moved. She was on Knox and I was on Tru. Dismounting from Knox was harder without  the saddle because he's so wide. Tru has a much different movement compared to Knox. She moved me more like a bicycle.

I had fun this week at 3 Gaits and I can't wait to find out what I do next week!
