Hey everyone! It's been awhile since my last post, but the past few months have been a little crazy. I've recently started going to Camp Createability twice a week at the new location, celebrated my brothers 17th birthday in Iowa, (I'm really good at go karts), and had WALH Camp back in July, which I'm still planning on posting about here, but it might be awhile because I have to sort through all my pictures!
Today's post however, will be about what I did this week at Three Gaits! I rode a new horse. His name is Moon. He's a lot taller than I'm used to, so it took me a minute to remember how to get on.
If you look back at previous horse posts about Knox, you can see a pretty big height difference between them.
Since Moon is still new to lessons, I stayed clipped on the lead with my leader, so he wouldn't get confused or anxious, which sometimes happens. I didn't mind though- I was just happy to be on a horse again! During the lesson, I practiced circles and Moon seemed to enjoy those. He loved them so much that sometimes he would try to do a circle when he was supposed to be going in a straight line.
At the end of the lesson, I got to go on a quick trail ride. It was a little chilly, but I didn't mind. It was overall a great first lesson and I loved getting to know Moon.
I don't know when I'll post again, but now that school has started for my siblings, I'll have a little more time to write, so hopefully I can get a more consistent posting schedule down. Until then, have a great start to your fall!
I love seeing you ride again. Eema
