One of my projects at Camp Createability is making bracelets to sell in the gallery. I have made a lot of bracelets for myself and to send in the mail to friends, so I've gotten really good and making some fun patterns. I've even learned how to make them adjustable and to add a new string to a bracelet that might have some strands turn out too short so I can continue working.
This one a a more detailed take on a normal chevron pattern. I made these to sell since it is football season for Packer fans and Badger fans.
This design may look complicated, but it's actual very easy and can be adjusted to be wider or narrower depending on how many strings are used.
I love making bracelets with color schemes to go with the seasons like these two. They are made with colors associated with fall.
Sometimes when I finish a bracelet, I have lots of extra string that I don't want to waste, especially if I like the colors. If the extra strings aren't long enough for a bracelet, I just use up the leftovers to make a bookmark instead!
These two are the first bracelets I was able to sell. One of the art teacher's I work with at Camp Createability bought them both for her nieces! That was really cool.
I haven't been able to get anymore in the gallery yet because it is still being built and organized at the new location. Hopefully at the grand opening in November all the one's in this post will be out for sale!
Nice work, Kira! They're beautiful. ❤️
