Even More Spring Art

Hi everyone! I only have a few more spring drawings left after these, so stay tuned for what I create in the coming weeks!

Day 21: A Colorful Cottage

I love how vibrant this one turned out. I had fun experimenting with tree brushes. And it's a bit difficult to see, but I did use a wood textured brush on the houses.

Day 22: Starry Night.

One of my favorite things to draw is skies at different times of day. I used a light brush for the stars and a nebula brush for the clouds. For the buildings I had a stamp. That way I didn't have to draw each one by hand.

Day 23: A Walk In The Park

This one took me awhile, but I was able to speed up the background by using flower and tree stamps instead of drawing them all by hand. The part that took the longest to draw was the girl, but I had fun designing her.

Day 24: Reading A book

Another one of my favorite things to draw is people. I love being able to start with a simple base reference to get the pose and anatomy looking right and adding the hair, face, clothes, etc. I think faces are one of the easiest things for me to draw.

Day 25: A Bunny in a Flower Field

Once again, I used the flower stamp instead of hand drawing each one individually. I used my Camp Createablity art teacher's bunny as inspiration for the bunny in the picture. I can't wait to show her!

Like I said at the beginning of this post, I only have a few more spring artworks to make, so watch for those!

More Digital Art

Hi everyone! Today's post is featuring more of my digital artwork!

Day 15- Tiny Home In A Mushroom

This one was fun because mushrooms are one of my favorite things to draw. I used a wood textured brush on the door and chimney and I edited one of the grass brushes to make it bigger.

Day 16- Cozy Evening

This one turned out really cute. I love drawing really fluffy and soft looking hair with lots of waves and curls. I think it gives characters a great personality and a unique look.

Day 17- Hedgehog Picnic

This one was a lot of fun to draw and it looks absolutely adorable! I used one of my fur texture brushes for the spikes on the hedgehogs.

Day 18- Baking Cookies

I struggled a bit with the oven on this one since it's a lot of sharper edges and shapes and my art style tends to have more rounded and soft shapes. I also prefer drawing people and outdoor backgrounds over things like appliances, but I'm proud of how it turned out.

Day 19- Happy Birds

I used the symmetry tool again for this one. I drew the background and the tree without it, but I turned the drawing guide on for the birds. I think they turned out cute!

Day 20- Tiniest Holiday

This one is a bit different because it seems like a Christmas drawing. It was the first holiday that came to mind and I tried to make it look tiny in comparison to the grass and sky.

Stay tuned for more artwork!

Happy 18th Birthday Morgan!

I had a very busy, but fun weekend! Me and my two best friends finally reunited in person to celebrate Morgan's 18th birthday! We had a great time shopping, trying dalgona coffees, and ended the night with the movie Fall Guy.

Our first stop in the mall was Barnes & Noble. We had fun browsing the historical fiction tables and even found a Taylor Swift table! I ended up leaving the store with 4 or 5 new books and Morgan got a baby plague doctor plushie. She named him Clarence.

Our next stop on our shopping adventure was getting dalgona coffees. I had never had it before, but I loved it! I don't usually chug my coffee, but I had my coffee gone before Parker did!

Once we were caffeinated and had a quick snack break, we headed over to Build A Bear. This was very special because instead of picking our own, we picked out each other's Build A Bear's. I picked a frog for Parker so she could have one like mine and Morgan's. Parker picked out a white sparkly bunny for Morgan. Morgan picked out a pink axolotl for me!

After checking out a few more stores it was time to head to the movie! It was such a great movie and I saw it with two amazing people!

Of course, since all three of us are big fans of Taylor Swift, everything we wore was Taylor themed. This included the 13 tattoos, symbolizing Taylor's lucky number, friendship bracelets with our favorite album titles, and shirts with Taylor Swift lyrics or references.

By the time I got home and in bed it was almost 11:30 at night, but it was completely worth it!

I had so much fun with these two girls and I can't wait for our next adventure!
