Spring Digital Art

Hello everyone! I'm back with another post with more spring art!

Day 10: Afternoon Treats

I had a lot of fun using the bright colors for the background. I love how the panda turned out as well.

Day 11: Mouse On An Adventure

I wanted to give this one a storybook vibe and I think I succeeded. I used the symmetry tool to make the mouse's ears. This tool makes a drawing on both sides of the canvas. It's a great way to save time and make sure that both sides of your drawing look even.

Day 12: Butterfly Garden

I used the copy/paste tool after drawing one butterfly. Then I positioned each one and changed the colors. I really like how this one turned out.

Day 13: A Lovely Surprise

This one took me a bit longer. I traced a photo as a guide and then added my own colors to the girl and the flowers.

Day 14: Daisies Waking Up

For this one I struggled to come up with an idea, but I'm happy with the overall results. I tried to do a dawn sky with lots of daisies.

Keep an eye out for more art posts!

More Spring Artwork

Hey everyone! I'm back with more spring artwork!

Day 5: A Lovely Rainbow

For this piece I used a multi-line brush as a guide for where to put the colors of the rainbow. I free-handed the clouds and the sun.

Day 6: Bear With A Sunhat

I really like how this one turned out. I think it looks like an illustration from a children's book.

Day 7: Best Friends

I used a reference for the frogs. I drew only one frog and the duplicated it and changed the color's. Once I had done that, I gave them both some cute accessories.

Day 8: Garden At Sunset

This one took me awhile, but instead of drawing each flower individually, I used the copy tool and made multiples of the one flower. Then I changed the color of each flower and used the selection tool to adjust the sizes.

Day 9: Enchanted Forest

This one took me a long time to sketch out the trees, do the background, and add the mushrooms, but I like how it turned out.

I have also been taking an online course to learn more about Procreate. I'm still in the beginning lessons, but once I've done more art with that a I will do a blog post on it.

Spring Artwork!

Hello again! I know it's been awhile since my last  post, but life has been busy! Rehearsals for Penguin Project have started and I was sick for a good chunk of March. But during all that, I was still able to create some new digital art pieces. During this 30 day art challenge I will be drawing something spring themed.

This is the list I will be using. I've only done 4 drawings so far, but I will try to post more as I get them done.

Day 1 was Bees and Flowers. I tried to make it look like a children's story book with vibrant colors.
I had a lot of fun playing around with texture brushes on Procreate.

Day 2 was Cozy Morning Coffee. I traced a photo as a reference, but the colors and background are all mine. I used a layer filter to make the sun rays.

Day 3 was Ladybugs In Love and I once again went for a storybook kind of design. I had a lot of fun with different brush pens to get the textured look.

The most recent drawing I've done is Ducks On A Walk.
I had fun with the grass brush for the scenery.

Stay tuned for more art posts!
