Spring 3 Gaits!

 The past couple of weeks at 3 Gaits have been fun because I've gotten to ride outside! I've been riding Cheyenne again! The first outdoor lesson I rode in the outdoor arena!

Here's a quick video of me riding outside!

This week I rode part of the lesson inside. We practiced 20 meter circles, which are used in dressage a lot.

Cheyenne was excited to go outside and kept looking at the gate until we went out! We did a trail ride this week.

At the end of the lesson I got to untack and groom Cheyenne before she went out in her pasture. She thought every brush was actually food.

My next class will be in 2 weeks and I'll be the only one there, so stay tuned for that post!

More Paintings!

 The past couple of weeks at Camp Createability I've been doing lots of paintings! All the ones in the post will eventually be on sale at the shop!

I've done a frog and fried egg. For these and all the other paintings I did the outline in pencil and painted over it.

I also did a cow and abstract drip painting!

The first painting I made to sell is a mermaid!

I found all these ideas on Pinterest and have more to work on in the future!

Almost There: A Twisted Tale Book Review

"What if Tiana made a deal that changed everything?"
That's the question this book answers. In this re-imagined ending to the classic Disney film Princess And The Frog, Tiana makes a deal with the cunning Dr. Facilier to become human again in exchange for the amulet with Prince Naveen's blood. But things are different. Not only does Tiana demand her friend Louis the gator be turned human so he can live out his dream to play in a jazz band, she also gets her beloved father back and her dream of owning a restaurant must become part of her life as well. She pays the price however, when Naveen is human as well, but he has no memory of everything he and Tiana went through.

Tiana spends a year with her family reunited, but mysterious things are happening is the buzzing city of New Orleans. A strange fog has set in and Tiana's neighbors and friends are losing their memories. This is more than just strange weather and coincidences and Tiana is sure the Shadow Man himself is a part of it. Along with all this, Tiana finds herself falling for Naveen all over again when he dear friend Charlotte LaBouff starts bringing him to the restaurant. Can Tiana stay in her lovely fantasy with her father or will she return to reality once again? Read this book to find out!

Camp Createability Paintings!

 After spring break I started going to a new group at Camp Createability! It's an art group where I can try new things and talk with other people who have autism or other special needs! A couple weeks ago I did 2 paintings! The first one was Rapunzel's tower from Tangled, one of my favorite Disney movies.

~~~
I used acrylic paints after drawing the outline in pencil. I had to make sure my pencil lines were super light, so they didn't blend into the paints. Another acrylic painting I did is of Olaf from Frozen!
~~~

Instead of doing an outline in pencil I tried doing the outline in chalk! It was easier in some ways because I was able to use a blue chalk similar to the blue paint so if it got mixed in, it wouldn't be noticeable.

~~~
In this group I've also learned to use alcohol markers and I learned how to do digital art on a huge iPad with a stylus!  Digital art is always something I've wanted to try and I might buy my own stylus to use at home if I end up really enjoying it.
~~~

I've learned a lot in this group and made some friends! I can't wait to see what I do next time!

Disney Parks Photo Pass Pictures!

 Well, this is my final post about DisneyWorld! It was fun reliving it all again! I thought it would be fun to share some of the pictures from the Photo Pass we did! So many of them are hilarious because we didn't know where the cameras were on most of the rides! I'm going to try and go in order from each park starting with Magic Kingdom.

These are from Tron: Lightcycle Run! We were all just praying we came off the ride in one piece. Dylan was probably holding his breath for the entire ride!

This one is from Space Mountain. I didn't ride this one, but the picture is still funny! Look at Dylan's face!
These three are from Buzz Lightyear: Space Ranger Spin! It was a ride, but we also had to shoot at the targets throughout the ride! My strategy was to shoot wildly and hope I hit some targets.

These three are from Haunted Mansion. It very very fun and a little bit creepy!

These are from Tower of Terror in Hollywood Studios. I didn't ride it, but the pictures were fun!

These are from Galaxy's Edge in front of the Millennium Falcon! There's a Porg on my arm!

In Toy Story Land there were a lot of fun photo opportunities. Slinky Dog Dash was a lot of fun because it felt like riding on Slinky Dog from Toy Story!

In Animal Kingdom, there was a perfect place to get a picture in front of the Tree Of Life! It's so pretty!

This one is from Expedition Everest! Dylan's face was hilarious and the guys in front of us  who are flexing clearly knew exactly where the camera was!

This one is from the Italy portion of EPCOT! We had a lot of pictures here!

These two are in front of Remi's Ratatouille Adventure! Remi's escaping with a cork!

This one is from Frozen: Ever After! We got a little bit wet on this one.

This one was cool because it was a 360 camera! It made us look super tall!

We had lots of fun on our trip! Soon I'll be back to posting art and book reviews!

Disney Parks Day 3 Afternoon: EPCOT!

 After our fun morning in Animal Kingdom, we took the bus to EPCOT, our final park of the vacation. We didn't get to do as much there, so we spent a lot of time at The Seas With Nemo And Friends. We even saw manatees Lil Joe and Lou from the shows on Disney+ and found a hidden Mickey in one of the aquariums!

After we spent some time at The Seas, we headed for the French Pavilion to ride Remi's Ratatouille Adventure! This ride was very fun because it felt just like being one of the rats in Gusteau's kitchen!

After the ride we had time to wander around. While we did that we spotted lots of cool character statues mad entirely of plants and flowers. We found Bambi, Tick Tock the Croc from Peter Pan, Elsa and Anna, and so many more!

For our last ride of the trip, the boys went and rode Mission Space and us girls went to ride Frozen: Ever After, which was a boat ride!

It was an amazing way to end our time at the parks! Stay tuned for one more Disney post with some hilarious pictures from all the rides we did!
